Teamwork through self-learning organization
After more than 40 years of successful company management by Mr. Werner Lorenz, the continuous integration of Mr. Christian Lorenz brought a “fresh breeze” to the management level, i.e. a new modern management style was introduced. Following the five disciplines according to Senge and within the framework of the self-learning organisation, six expert teams were formed in the company, whereby each team developed its own team vision and all employees jointly developed an entire company vision. We form flexible project teams to suit the respective task, which also act according to these principles in dialogue with external project participants. Each member of the team contributes his or her personality, drive and motivation – this makes us strong as a whole.
The expert teams work on further development through constructive dialogue and result-oriented reflection. Each team is represented in the management team by its team leader. The team leader is responsible for the further development of the company as a whole and for coordinating the activities of the teams.
Experience grown over decades
Lorenz Consult was founded in 1972 by DI Werner Lorenz as a civil engineering office for civil engineering. His special technical ability to successfully solve statically demanding tasks was the foundation stone for long-standing customer relationships, whose trust we continue to enjoy to this day.
In 1980 the company began to develop in the direction of general planning by extending its activities to project management and construction supervision. This was followed by the establishment of a building construction department.
In 2000 DI Christian Lorenz joined his father’s company. His civil engineering authority for industrial engineering and mechanical engineering led to the expansion of the business field of building services planning. Thus the engineering office is today able to cover almost all construction-specific services with its own permanent staff.
In 2013 a long-time employee, Mr. DI Gerald Dabernig, joined the company management as a partner.
His training as a civil engineer contributes to the continuous continuity and professionalism of Lorenz Consult.
Our main location is Graz, Austria. With the tram stop directly in front of our front door you can easily reach us by public transport.
Our branch office in Vienna, Austria and our partner office in Berlin, Germany are also centrally located and are optimally connected to the public transport network by subway or tram.
