The coronavirus shows: in the event of a disaster, things have to move quickly.

DI Christian Lorenz, Managing Director of Lorenz Consult, is convinced: “Especially in Austria we could establish quarantine stations as quickly as China”.

One challenge in everyday hospital life is to discover the danger of viruses and to react to it. But if the worst comes to the worst, it makes sense to separate infected patients from normal hospital operations. In order to implement biosafety, the protection of those affected and the outside world, a good infrastructure, integrated technology and structural changes are required.
