On the premises of the LKH Univ.-Klinikum Graz, Auenbruggerplatz 15 Innere Medizin, a provisional solution for a heart catheter system will be added for 6 years in room cell construction. Furthermore there is a reconstruction of the existing building in order to build the necessary escape route.
At the beginning of October 2020 the construction work for the new temporary heart catheter laboratory started. After very challenging construction of the deep foundations, the foundations and pedestals were concreted. With the assembly of the Stako, another milestone was successfully mastered. At the end of this week, the room cells will be moved into the Stako and then its removal can begin.
The following complications have to be taken into account during the construction phase:
tight space conditions in the construction site
Preservation of a roadway in the south of the construction site
limited space for possible lifting devices or cranes
ongoing operation of the existing cardiac catheter station
