The expansion of the logistics centers in Eilsleben and Feuchtwangen involved, among other things, the construction of new warehouses, the expansion of the order picking area while maintaining ongoing operations, the installation of weighbridges, the installation of a new warehouse control system, and the procurement of forklifts. These centers serve as distribution hubs for shipping goods to the European market. The new halls were intended to be used exclusively as logistics centers, with storage areas, order picking areas, and loading yards for outbound shipments.
The contract included the complete planning and construction of a logistics center for livestock farming. Our services in the project included general planning, structural engineering, building services and logistics planning, as well as on-site construction supervision.
Lorenz Consult was awarded the contract for these centers as a comprehensive project.
