Lorenz Consult assumed the role of local construction supervision for the construction of the ÖBB apprentice dormitory in St. Pölten. The project included replacing the old apprentice dormitory and constructing a total of 12 double rooms across three floors. In addition to the accommodation rooms for approximately 69 individuals, recreational spaces for the apprentices, a multipurpose room, and rooms for the on-site educator were also built. Most of the required utility lines were already in place, but the district heating pipeline had to be rerouted within the construction site. The energy supply was facilitated through a newly constructed ÖBB transformer station.
